When DMB moved to Texas and entered a few shows he was getting frustrated that his earlier award winners were not taking home ribbons. In 2001, his grandson told him that he has to paint for the audience. From that moment forward he began painting more country ideas and received much accolades in the SW and SC USA exhibitions and events.

This painting was painted from a collection of photographs he had taken in his travels. When he saw something intriguing he would take out his camera and snap a photograph for a potential future work of art.
